Indoor Court Fees, AGM, 21 Point Report, Mens Night

Indoor Court Fees Starting from Monday 6th November, we would like to TRIAL half-price indoor court booking fees on weekdays 12-3pm. We will also be increasing the floodlighting charge on courts 1-8 from £3.50-£4.00/half hr, but reducing the 4 court bubble rate to £4.00/half hour without the lights. This means the 4-court bubble rate when lights are needed remains at £8/half hour which is the same as the 2-court bubble. These changes will come into effect on MyCourts from Monday 23rd October at 7am. AGM Reminder A reminder that the upcoming AGM will be held on Saturday 18th November at 4:30pm, following the club tennis afternoon. The bar will be open to provide drinks and light refreshments. Please continue to raise any subjects or questions you wish to raise in A.O.B. via club-communications@ctc.club. Junior Half-Term Tennis Camp Spaces are filling up for our Junior Tennis Camp next week but there's still time to sign up if you would like your child to attend. These camps are suitable for all levels and for ages 5-11. Running from 9am-12pm, 23rd-25th October and open to members (£35 a day) and non-members (£40 a day). Sign up - Junior Tennis Camp Quilter Cheviot Mens Night We held our second week of Men's Night Tennis on the 16th of October and had a great evening of tennis! Well done to everyone who took part and to our winners: Division 1: Chris Goulding Division 2: John Hanna Division 3: Richard O'Donovan Division 4: Nile Hannah Division 5: Ben Carnegie 21 Point Tournament Last Sunday, the club ran a successful 21-point singles tournament. We had a good mixture of youth and experience, ladies & men, nationalities and playing abilities, so you could say it was a tournament for all! As it says on the tin, each match was first to 21 points, the difference being the start of the point was an underarm serve! All matches had long rallies and lots of points being played in a very competitive but relaxed atmosphere. The winners of their respect groups were Fabienne Briery, Mark Fleming and Rob Hannah. Thanks to each and every one of you for taking part and I'm sure we will do this again in the near future.
