First Tennis Club: I joined the 76 Club in 1977 (Now known as Grainville). Joined the Caesarean Tennis Club in 1981.

Favourite Tennis Player: Roger Federer and Rafa Nadel and present day Jannik Sinner.

About Me: Been in the island since 1966. I have been playing for many years. I was a qualified tennis coach and a tennis umpire and did the lines at Wimbledon for 2 year, which was brilliant. Was secretary for the JLTA and CILTA tennis for a number of year Been involved with the Islands Games since 1991. My other sport was horses, both competing here and in the UK and was a pony club instructor. My working life has been in property management, having worked for 2 large UK companies, dealing in both residential and commercial and then I set up my own business. Also spent 13 years working in a bank.​

About Me: I was a zookeeper at Durrell for 10 years with a particular interest in Andean bears. Before that I was a scuba diver at the New England Aquarium in Boston, working with sharks, sea turtles, baby seals and penguins, etc. My degree is in Maths, not conservation. Go figure. Life is full of twists and turns. I have spent much of the last 20 years volunteering…at schools, with wildlife causes, JSPCA and now in my fifth year with the CCLTC committee.

About Me: I've been playing tennis since the age of 10! Mostly school tennis. My working life has been very varied - horse riding instructor / travel and hotel industry / Trust Officer. I have been fortunate to have worked in Germany, Austria, New Zealand, London and of course Jersey. I love a challenge and my previous role on the committee as Chairman was during the pandemic plus the flood and storms - many challenges during those three years! ​

Day Job: No day job (anymore) but many hobbies; for example, I am fascinated by neuroscience, especially the brain development in early childhood.

First Tennis Club: The Riverside in Chiswick, I then moved to Jersey in 2014 and joined the Caesarean.

Favourite Champs: McEnroe, Federer and Sinner now. Simone Biles is up there as well.

About Me: I was born in Lyon, France. My sport when growing up was gymnastics, remember Nadia Comaneci? I have a degree in business and finance. My professional background is in financial markets, think trading floors in Paris and then London. I gave it all up to raise my 3 kids and never looked back. ​

About Me: Originally from the northeast of England, I studied at university in Cardiff before beginning my teaching career in schools across Leeds and London. In 2000, I relocated to Jersey, where I feel incredibly fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful place with such a supportive community.
I was introduced to tennis through my daughter’s involvement in the sport and, inspired by her enthusiasm, I have taken lessons. I love the outdoors and staying fit and active is an important part of my life.​​
