Frequently Asked Questions

If the answer you're looking for isn't listed below, please submit your question via our chat tool or by using our contact form.

  • I would like to start playing tennis, where do I begin?
We hold events periodically at the Club which members are invited to attend, and there are plenty of classes and tournaments you could sign up to such as Mens & Ladies Advanced Training or Rusty Rackets. There are also social tennis events twice a week on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, which is a great place to meet other members. Otherwise you can have private 1-1 lessons with one of our coaches (dependent on availability).
  • How do I book a court?
Once you sign up for membership, we will set you up on our court booking system and send you a login. Once you receive the login details, you can go into your account and top it up with credit that will be deducted every time you book a court where a fee is applicable. You can find the Book Courts button at the top of the website.
  • How do I pay for my membership renewal?
All members who are renewing their annual memberships should do so following the steps on the membership renewals page. If you are having problems in doing so, you can pop into the office for assistance.
  • I am visiting Jersey and would like to play tennis during my stay, can I have a temporary membership?
Yes, we can issue temporary memberships for £50 per week, for a max of two weeks, which you can sign up for on our Membership page. You do not receive a membership card or access to our court booking system so courts will need to be booked in advance via the Club office either in person or on 789321.
  • When does the membership period start?
Our 12 month membership runs from the 1st April - 31st March following year.
  • Can I join the club at anytime?
Yes, you can join the club at anytime throughout the year and we will pro-rata the membership fee so you only pay for the remaining period of the membership year. Please note that this only applies to NEW members only.
  • Does the Club have welfare and safeguarding provisions?
Yes as an LTA club we have a welfare officer and a safeguarding policy. All our coaches have safeguarding training and updates.
  • I would like my child to start tennis, what options do you have?
We run Junior Squads through the school terms which is a good place for them to start as they can play with other children of their age and level. You are welcome to come along to a taster session first (held on Fridays) to meet with the coaches and discuss squad options. If this is of interest please email so we can add you to the list. Otherwise, if you’re more interested in private one to one lessons, please contact our head coach Andrew Evans, who will be able to provide you with more information – Please note you will need to become club members to participate in any squads or coaching.
  • How do I contact safeguarding or report a concern?
Our notice board contains information on the current Welfare officer and her details but you can call the office or email our Safeguarding Officer Julie on
  • Do you run half-term and holiday camps for juniors?
We run camps during the following dates: Monday 30 May to Friday 3 June Monday 24 October to Friday 28 October Monday 19 December to Friday 23 December These camps are a great way to get your kids to have fun, make new friends and stay active during the holidays! Suitable for all levels and for ages 5-11. Open to both members and non-members. Information on how to sign up will be under our events page closer to the time.
  • Can I sign up my child to Junior Squads at anytime or do I have to wait until the next term?
You can sign up your child at any point throughout the 12 programme, however they do get fully booked very early on. If there are no spaces left on the advised squad, we will put your name on the list and you will have to wait until the next term.
