Club Security During Half-term
We've recently experienced some disruptions caused by youths visiting the club and engaging in inappropriate behaviour on the courts and clubhouse. Despite our efforts to address this issue and request them to leave, there's a possibility of their return during the half-term. Our primary concern is protecting the bubble, courts, and clubhouse, particularly since past incidents have led to dome collapse due to unauthorised access to the bubble.
To ensure the security of the bubble, we'll be temporarily closing the indoor courts from 6pm today (30/05). We'll closely monitor bookings for the remainder of the week, and if no indoor bookings are made, courts will be closed earlier. If you wish to play indoors, please remember to book in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
Membership Renewals
Thank you to those members who have already paid their subs. If anyone has overpaid during the early bird period, this has now been credited to your MyCourts account or your membership card for those who don't have a MyCourts account.
Club Sessions
Club night/afternoons, Ladies Clinic, Mens Night, Junior Drill Clinic and Junior Squads will all commence from next week (3rd June) sign-ups are included below. Junior Club Night will not be running on the 7th of June due to Club Championships being held that day, this will return on the 14th of June.
Ladies Social Tennis Evening – Tuesday 18th June
Due to the lack of entrants for the Ladies Team Tennis to be successful, Sue Holland and Trish Irving are initially arranging a one-off Ladies Social Tennis evening.
Date: Tuesday 18th June
Start time: 6.30 – 8.00pm. Please arrive no later than 6.15 when the format will be explained. Followed by a warmup time.
Nominal fee: £1.00 to go towards prizes for the winner and runner-up. Paid on the evening to Trish or Sue, cash only.
The winner and runner-up will be announced in the bar and restaurant at the end of the evening. The restaurant and bar will be open, especially for attendees and of course, to other members who are playing that evening. All food must be pre-ordered and paid directly to Bella's by close of business on Saturday 15th June. Their full menu will be available, but our suggestions and recommendations are:
Hot smoked salmon and avocado salad - £12.50
Homemade lasagne served with garlic bread and salad - £12.50.
Crispy buttermilk chicken burger served with chips and salad - £12.50.

Trish and Sue are desperately trying to get new and old members to meet and play with other members, and to support the long-awaited Bella's bar and restaurant facility. Please support this event. Upon this initial event being successful a similar event may be organised in July and/or August.
