Hospice Charity Tennis Event
This year the Hospice Charity Tennis Event will be organised by club member Cathy Mallinson and will be a slightly simplified version of the past Hospice Tennis Event which has been well attended over a number of years.
Hospice decided not to include the tennis in their main attraction which had always included lunch at Government House with invitees of non-tennis players too. This year the main attraction will be a Gala Dinner and to set aside at least one table for tennis players. See attached flyer.
Due to popular demand, Cathy decided to once again organise just the tennis with the semi-finals and final taking place at the Caesarean. A buffet lunch will be included in the ticket/entry price of £30pp and is open to all tennis-playing participants. The bar will be open for the duration of the finals and lunch.

65+ Interinsular - 2nd Nov
We are planning to hold the inaugural 65 and over interinsular on Thursday the 2nd of November and for the first year it will be hosted by Jersey playing at the Caesarean Tennis Club.
The Island teams will be made up of 4 men and 4 ladies. There will be two matches for each pair in the morning and one mixed match in the afternoon. We will probably agree to a fast four set but subject to a general consensus before final rules are agreed. Each match will be two sets with a tie-break if one set all. We are now soliciting interest from those who would like to play. If numbers exceed the above, we will go through a selection process.
The cost will be £50 per player payable to the Channel Island Tennis and Padel LBG (CITAP), further info on bank accounts once team selection is completed. The balance of cost will be covered by CITAP.

Jersey Vets Team
Vets 45's & over and 55's & over teams vs Guernsey. The date set for the competition is Sunday 1st October.
Each team will consist of 8 players, 4 men and 4 women.

Junior Squads
A reminder to parents of junior members, you've all received an email (please check junk mail) regarding junior squads for the new term. They will begin again from the 11th Sept so if you haven't signed your children up yet, please can you do so before the 6th Sept to secure your space.
