Membership Renewals
Please be advised that our online payment portal is now ready to accept payment for membership subscription renewals. The below link will take you through the steps to renew and you'll also find a help tutorial designed to highlight the steps that should be taken to complete your renewal. The Club understands that changing from more traditional forms of payment may cause concern for some members, however, the administrative overhead of reconciling payments made by cheque, cash, BACS, PayPal, credit and debit cards in the office has become far too time-consuming and costly for the Club to maintain.In addition, because data associated with online renewals automatically populates our database in our new operating system, we no longer have to support a manual database. Furthermore, integration with our accounting platform speeds up our bookkeeping operation. The Club is extremely grateful for members’ kind cooperation going forward.
Please note that you have until April 30th to pay your subscription after which a late payment fee of £35 will automatically be added to your membership category from 1st May 2023.
BNP Paribas LTA Easter Tournament
The LTA Open Tournament starts on Saturday afternoon, 1st April and finishes on Friday 7th April, the bar will be open all weekend so please come down, have some food/drink and watch a couple of matches!
To view the scheduling of matches go to the website www.tennissolutions.co.uk click on our link and further click on matches. The scheduling is reported for each day. Please also note that the presentation to the winners and runner-ups will take place on Friday, time TBC.
We shall release courts as the week progresses but it is also very dependent on the weather, if it rains matches will of course have to be moved to the indoor courts. So please keep an eye on MyCourts if you wish to play and are not involved with the tournament.
Club Sessions
Today will be the last junior club night and Saturday (1st April) is the last day of squads before we break up for half-term. No Adult Club Afternoon this Saturday (1st April) due to our Tournament. Ladies Clinic, both adult and junior club nights and junior squads will all begin again after half-term, from the 17th April.
Bubble Closure - w/c 17th April
Please note that we will need to close both courts in the bubble on Monday 17 April to repair the delamination of court 2 caused by the flood. However, on Tuesday and Wednesday 18/19 April, Indoor 1 will be available to book but Indoor 2 will have to remain closed to allow the new surface to cure.
Fence Post Painting
The fence posts are being repainted and work should begin next week, 3rd April and finish by the first week of May. No disruption to members is expected, except perhaps the occasional painters in the corridor between the courts but members will still have access to the courts even if walking at the back of hard courts is required. Outdoor Court Resurfacing
BRB have completed the removal of the Astro courts and chain link around courts 5-8, ready for painting of the remaining metalworks. We will keep you updated with any further progress.
