BNP Paribas LTA Easter Tournament
We were treated to another great week-long open LTA tournament sponsored by BNP Paribas with exciting, hard-fought matches played across all draws, from Juniors to Veterans. There was a great atmosphere at the club despite the weather and the bar was full of players and spectators relaxing between matches and enjoying the lovely food provided by Bella's at the Caesarean.
Congratulations to Louis Keenan, who won both the Men’s Singles and Men’s Doubles! Louis who has been a member of the Caesarean Tennis Club since he first started playing tennis at the age of 8 beat Jeremy Cross in the semi-finals and then beat James Faudemer in the finals, both in straight sets, to win the Singles title. He then teamed up with his friend Liam Hickey from Ireland to win the Men’s Doubles against Jeremy Cross and Scott Weaver.
Thanks to our tournament referee and court supervisor – Donna and Graham, for keeping the matches on track, and to Karen Clark and Sue Holland who contributed to the preparation and running of the tournament. Also a big thank you to sponsors BNP Paribas for the trophy presentations and their ongoing, generous support to the club.
Junior Squads
A reminder to parents of junior members, you should've all received an email regarding junior squads for the new term. They will begin again from the 15th April so if you haven't signed your children up yet, please can you do so before the end of this week. For any issues email club-communications@ctc.club
Club Sessions 2024
All club sessions including club night/afternoons will commence next week (15th April). New term dates for PickleBall, Mens Tennis, Ladies Tennis, Ladies Clinic, Rusty Rackets, Junior Fitness Training and Junior Drill Clinic are all up on our website and sign-ups can now be taken:
Ladies Team Tennis
As you may now be aware Trish Irving has taken on the role of Ladies Captain and one of the projects returning to the schedule is the Ladies Team Tennis. We are returning to the old format which was last played in 2022.
When: Tuesday 14th May-Tuesday 25th June at 6.30 pm.
Price: £8 per person for the 6-week duration of this session.

Play Your Way to Wimbledon
Apologies, we previously advertised that the upcoming Play Your Way to Wimbledon was to take place in April but the date has now changed and will be held on the 4th & 5th of May. If you would like your child to enter this prestigious competition please sign up earlier as entries will close by the 28th April. Free entry.
Used Tennis Balls
Following the tournament, we have lots of used balls for sale for £2 a tube. These can be purchased from the clubhouse.
