Personal Belongings

Please be advised that there have been recent cases when rackets have been left at the Club by members, but have subsequently not been found.

This is obviously distressing for those members involved and in an effort to avoid any repetition, please can we remind members to check that you have all of your belongings before leaving the club, especially rackets!

Please also note that the Club accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of any personal possessions brought onto the premises and that members are advised to keep their belongings safe at all times.

Indoor Court Facility - Planning Application Update

Our sincere thanks to those who took the time to register their support, which was very much appreciated

Our application closed on the 15 April and there were 70 responses and of those, we had 7 negative ones, (including one member)

We have full support from I&E and also from The Department of Economy.

The planning regulations stipulate that if you have more than 6 negative responses, which unfortunately we have, the application now has to go to the full planning committee for their consideration.

The bad news is that we have to wait till after the elections in June and the need for a new Planning Committee to be established.

The earliest date that our application might be put to the new committee is the 30 July, subject to the New Committee Chairman agreeing the meeting schedule. Therefore, we are not looking till some time in August before we should know what their decision will be. 

We are now in a waiting game I am afraid and we will update you as and when we have anything to report.

Parking Spaces

We kindly remind members to use the marked parking spaces provided in the car park and avoid parking on the gravel. This area can become unsafe when the club is busy, especially with juniors around. Thank you.

Tennis Balls

A reminder that the club sells tennis balls for £7 per tube if members need them. These can be purchased from the club office during office hours: Mon–Wed 9:30am–4:30pm and Thurs–Fri 11am–3pm.
