BNP Paribas Summer Tournament
Let's hope you have already marked the date for this LTA Open Tournament in your diary. It starts on Sunday 14th August and finishes on Friday 19th August. It is an LTA Tournament and gives all the tennis players in the island a great opportunity to experience such a tournament held under LTA Rules. The Easter Tournament was a great success and in particular for our younger members. We would also love to encourage our adult and veteran players, who are more than able to participate in this tournament, to support the club and the organisation it takes to put on the show and our sponsors for generously financing the event.
Our referee has confirmed that events for the older players can take place in the evening after the business world has closed. This is to encourage as many players as possible to participate - work sometimes gets in the way of pleasure. When you make your entry please state under the "notes" section if you are able to play during the day. Otherwise, it will be assumed you can only play during the evening.
American Tournament
We did go ahead with this fun tournament last Sunday even though the temperature rose to 32 degrees. The attached photo shows the smiles and warm faces of those who took part. Congratulations to the joint winners: Sheila Graham and Tom Hiles.
New Members Evening
Jo and Sue will be at the club again next Tuesday 26th July to welcome new members to join them for an hour of tennis from 6.30pm. We had 3 members last Tuesday and we look forward to meeting a few more next week.

With the Guernsey Tournament this weekend and the upcoming Summer Tournament in August, these hoodies will look very smart for our players. They

Junior Summer Camps
Our first week of Summer Camp is finished and what a busy week it was! It's great to see so many children enjoying themselves and making friends. We held a prize giving at the end of the week where every child that attends gets a certificate and medal and the top three players receive a trophy! Congratulations to the following children:
