We Are Tennis

During the first six weeks of the school summer term, the club once again delivered its annual We Are Tennis schools programme, kindly sponsored by BNP Paribas.

This initiative gave every government primary school the chance to welcome one of our coaches for fun, engaging tennis sessions with their Year 3 classes, along with the added excitement of competing on Finals Day. This year, 16 schools took part, reaching around 500 children across the island.

Finals Day took place at the club last Friday, bringing together 140 enthusiastic young players from 12 schools for a fantastic day of friendly, competitive tennis. Congratulations to St Peter's for taking first place, with St Clement's finishing second and d’Auvergne third. This event remains a highlight of our calendar and an important part of our mission to introduce tennis to the next generation.

A huge thank you to our brilliant coaching team for organising the day, and to the BNP Paribas staff who generously volunteered their time, including Jamison, who captured the action on camera. Photos will be shared shortly.

We hope to see many of these young players continue their tennis journey with us!

Pebble Summer Slam

Well done to all the players who competed in the JTAP Pebble Summer Slam Tournament held at the club last weekend. There was some fantastic tennis on display, and we hope everyone, whether playing or watching, enjoyed the event.
